2012 Ferrari 599

No matter how noble racer take her under her wing at Anderson Germany you can be sure that at the end of a striking super sports argument comes out. So also in the case of this Ferrari 599 GTB.

The house is already a child of poor parents: his six-liter V12 engine delivers 620 horsepower and front sends the production car already 608 Newton meters to the rear wheels. Sounds impressive? Not for the Anderson-boys! The help the 599 by software optimization and complete exhaust system too heavily insane 674 hp. Ferrari took the production car to 3.7 seconds from 0 to 100 km / h is missing, now only a suitable piece of asphalt highway with twenty percent slope, in order to press it below the magic 3.0 mark his acceleration. That the terminal velocity of the pimped-Racers Maranello 300 km / h mark breaks through with a looseness that is reminiscent of the filling of the legendary milk cuts, sees itself almost by itself

The look is clearly beneficial to the complete repainting of the Italian beauty in “Black Diamond Metallic Anderson Germany” that gets administered by delicate bright red racing stripes in a successful contrast ratio. In the same color, the choir also agree with one wheel: the fine three-piece suits are painted black and equipped with a red border. The dimensions are typical Anderson exquisite: the front wheels in the precious 9×21 inch decorate 245/30-21er rollers, while they measure on the drive axle whopping 12x21Zoll and are covered with rubber giant size 345/25-21.

Official Premier at the SEMA Motor Show 2011: DMC refines the Ferrari 458 Italia

German luxury tuner DMC celebrates the official premier of it’s 458 Italia “Milano” at the SEMA Motorshow 2011, and it’s a stunner.

While the engineers were able to come up with a beautiful body kit, it’s no doubt that the engine make-over is the true star of this car. Creating 610 hp vs. the regular 570 from the 4,5 L V8 engine makes anybody forget that this is the smallest of Ferraris currently available. Torque was increased from 540 Nm to 569 Nm, giving you that extra push upon starting your journey. And betold journey may be over sooner than you think, because DMC’s Italia is faster than 330 KM per hour, compared with the 325 km/h of the house stallion.

Supporting the increased performance are the carbon fiber parts presented in this kit: The wings located in the front bumper were re-engineered from visible carbon fiber, just as were the side skirts, the rear diffuser and the fog-light aprons. Most significant and certainly a unique signature of the kit is the pair of carbon fiber mirrors. They are, like all other components of this kit, molded stand-alone carbon fiber parts that exchange for the OEM items. Instead of using trims that cover OEM parts with a carbon layer, DMC’s engineers went back to the drawing board and manufactured these items from ground up:

After a thorough 3D scan of the original parts, the design was improved in the computer using CAD solutions. The computer images were then CNC’ed into a negative mold of these parts, using industry quality steel. It is these molds that are used to bake carbon fiber in a vacuum environment in auto-clave production ovens. The result are weight-saving, extremely light carbon fiber parts.

The newly designed 458 Italia exhaust system is made from t309 grade stainless steel and has performance driven 4-2-1 headers, and valved exhaust. It comes with protective heat shields to protect the stallion from high temperatures and increase performance lost from ‘heat soak’. The DMC heat shields also protect the vehicle in the case of leaking fluids igniting due to contact with the heat from an exhaust system. Compared with the original exhaust, DMC’s solution shaves a whopping 19 KG off the car, making the car lighter and performance-driven.

A remote to manually keep the exhaust valves open is available optionally, in markets that allow for this solution.

To complete the optical package, DMC presents a combination of 21″ and 22″ rims (9Jx21 front / 12Jx22 rear) that are meant to control the newly added power and carbon lightness of the car. As for Pneus, DMC is offering VA 255/30 ZR 21 and HA 335/25 ZR22 respectively, rounding up a perfect styling package for the 458 Italia.

DMC’s “Milano” Styling Kit is shown at SEMA booth No. 48146. We welcome you to see the car and enjoy the special sound package which was installed by Al&Ed, an audio sound specialist based in Hollywood.

The Ferrari 458 Italia has been awarded the title of “Performance Car of the Year” by Auto Express magazine for the second year in a row.

Competing against some the most exciting performance cars on sale in the UK today, it was the Ferrari 458 Italia which was the clear favourite of the judging panel once again. All cars were scored for performance and handling both on road and on track, as well as for sheer desirability, with the 458 Italia earning top marks in all three categories.

Steve Fowler, Editor in Chief of Auto Express, commented: “Being a double winner of our Performance Car of the Year is a massive achievement for the 458 Italia. Nothing has come close to matching its blend of performance, agility, style and quality – this is a car that’s as thrilling to drive as it is to look at, a joy to potter around in and an absolute blast to drive fast. It’s going to take some stopping at next year’s shootout.”

The Ferrari 458 Italia has continued to receive critical acclaim internationally, garnering over 35 international awards in its short career, including on its launch BBC Top Gear’s “Car of the Year” and “Supercar of the Year”, and Fifth Gear’s “Fast Car of the Year”. In 2010 Auto Express, What Car? and CAR Magazine all named the 458 Italia “Performance Car of the Year”. More recently it has received the accolade of “2011 Best Driver’s Car” from the influential US title, Motor Trend, “Best Sports Car” from Auto Motor und Sport in Germany and was also voted “World Performance Car of the Year 2011”. The 458 Italia’s 4.5-litre V8 engine was voted “Best Performance Engine” and “Best Engine Above 4 Litres” at the prestigious 2011 International Engine of the Year Awards.
