2010 Renault Clio RS 20th Limited Edition

Posted by: eauto | Comments (0)

For 20 years, Clio has proudly lived up to its celebrated slogan: Elle a Tout d’une Grande (The Small Car with Big Car Attributes). To date, it has won over more than 10 million customers worldwide thanks to a unique package of comfort, versatility and safety performance that is more readily associated with models from the next segment up. In addition to being the only model ever to secure two Car of the Year awards, Clio has set new standards for the compact car segment over the years. It has always been at the leading edge on the safety front, too, and was the first B-segment model to secure a four-star EuroNCAP crash test rating, and then to achieve five-star status. Last but no least, its exacting build quality has seen it emerge as one of the most dependable cars in its Segment

To celebrate Clio’s 20th anniversary, Renault has decided to release special, exclusive ‘20th’ limited edition versions of:

· three- and five-door Clio and Clio Estate,
· Clio Renault Sport.

These limited edition versions feature ‘20th’ badging on the B pillars, and a gloss black finish for the front bumper moulding, exterior mirrors. A hallmark of the ‘20th’ limited edition version of Clio Renault Sport will be its exclusive white and black two-tone colour scheme.

Meanwhile, the plushly-appointed cabin comes with visible dashboard stitching and an anthracite grey painted finish for the centre console and air vents, plus ‘20th’-badged door sills.

These limited edition versions are extensively equipped, too. Depending on market, Clio ‘20th’ is available with Carminat TomTom® navigation, manual or automatic climate control, extra-tinted rear glass, cruise control with speed limiter, and a 80W radio-CD with MP3 playback, with Bluetooth® and Plug & Music connectivity. Clio ‘20th’ and Clio Renault Sport ‘20th’ both go on sale in March in Europe. In France, order books open on February 9, with prices starting at €14,350 for Clio ‘20th’. Clio R.S. ‘20th’ will cost €24,700.

At the same time, the structure of the Clio range has been revised, with an appreciable equipment upgrade in France (see appendix).

‘20th’ LIMITED EDITION VERSIONS TO CELEBRATE CLIO’S 20th ANNIVERSARY

Clio has vitalized the B segment since 1990

Like the 4CV and Renault 5 before it, Renault Clio has stood out as a landmark model since 1990.

In keeping with its original advertising slogan, Elle a Tout d’une Grande (The Small Car with Big Car Attributes), it has served as a driving force in its class, with each successive generation setting new standards in the B segment.

In the space of 20 years, it has won over more than 10 million customers in more than 100 countries1 thanks to a styling, comfort, versatility, safety and equipment package worthy of cars from the next segment up. Indeed, it is the only model to date to have claimed the Car of the Year award on two separate occasions: in 1991 initially – shortly after the launch of Clio I – and then a second time in 2006, with Clio III. As a pioneer in the field of safety, too, it broke new ground by becoming the first car in its class to earn a four-star EuroNCAP crash-test rating, in 2000. Then, in 2005, it went on to become the first to achieve five-star status. Last but not least, its exacting build quality has made it one of the most dependable cars in its segment.

To mark Clio’s 20-year long career as an international best seller, Renault has decided to introduce exclusive ‘20th’ limited edition versions of three- and five-door Clio, Clio Estate and Clio Renault Sport.

1 – Renault Clio ‘20th’

The ‘20th’ limited edition versions of Renault Clio are immediately recognizable by specific ‘20th’ badging on their B pillars, as well as the gloss black finish of their front bumper mouldings, exterior mirrors and side protective moulding end-pieces2 which contrast with the body colour exterior door handles.

Inside the cabin, the dashboard features visible stitching, plus anthracite grey air vents and centre console, in addition to ‘20th’ badging on the front door sills.

Based on the Dynamique equipment level, the ‘20th’ limited edition versions of Renault Clio (depending on country) are also equipped with manual or automatic climate control, cruise control with speed limiter and an 80W Radiosat-CD with MP3 playback, plus Bluetooth® and Plug & Music connectivity. The latter permits phone calls to be made or taken in total safety, while portable music devices can be connected via the jack or USB socket. The Bluetooth® audio-streaming function enables MP3-format music stored on mobile phones to be played. The optional Carminat TomTom® navigation system features IQ Routes™ technology and Advanced Lane Guidance which take day-by-day traffic pattern statistics into account when computing routes.

The ‘20th’ limited edition versions of Clio are available in a choice of six body colours:

• Non-metallic: Glacier White.
• Metallic: Grey Blue, Pearlescent Black, Platine Grey, Dyna Red, Cassiopée Grey.

The engines available for Clio “20th” are the same as those which feature of the Dynamique Version, these limited edition versions to comply with the three criteria necessary to qualify for the Renault eco² signature. In France, the versions powered by the dCi 70 and dCi 85 engines qualify for the state’s €500 eco-bonus subsidy.

The ‘20th’ limited edition versions of three- and five-door Clio and Clio Estate are due to go on sale in March in Europe (except Portugal). In France, order books will open on February 9, and prices will start from €14,350, representing a saving to the customer of four per cent.

2 – Renault Clio R.S. ‘20th’

The Clio Renault Sport line-up, too, has been treated to a special ‘20th’ limited edition version. Its bodywork features an exclusive two-tone livery, with a black roof, upper hatch rail and lip spoiler contrasting with the rest of the body’s brand new Pearlescent Givre finish.

The front stands out through the bumper’s gloss black moulding and anthracite exterior mirrors which echo the gloss black rear diffuser and anthracite splitter. The ‘20th’ limited edition version of Renault Clio R.S. sits on 17-inch Be Bop diamond-effect alloy wheels.

‘20th’ badging can be seen on the door pillars, while the plushly appointed interior features visible dashboard stitching, satin-finish chrome air vents, specific silver grey cloth upholstery and front carpet mats.

Clio R.S. ‘20th’ is equipped with different equipment in different markets.

The list of comfort-enhancing features includes electrically folding exterior mirrors, one-touch electric windows and an 80W radio-CD with MP3 playback, and Bluetooth® and Plug & Music connectivity. On the safety front, Clio R.S. ‘20th’ comes with cruise control and speed limiter, additional cornering lights and curtain airbags.

Clio Renault Sport ‘20th’ will go on sale in its principal European markets in March. In France, order books will open on February 9. Clio Renault Sport ‘20th’ will cost €24,700.

New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabrio rounds off the renewal of the New Megane family in style with introduction of the line-up’s sixth body type. The newcomer’s striking looks combine the elegance of a coupe with the promise of the thrills that go hand-in-hand with driving a cabriolet.

New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet builds on the strengths that forged the success of its predecessor – including a large, folding glass roof and a raft of user-friendly equipment – yet it goes further still by offering customers:

· unruffled open-top motoring thanks to the forward position of the windscreen and a fixed glass wind deflector situated behind the rear head restraints,
· outstanding handling performance thanks to a stiffer chassis and a new electric power steering system,
· a broad choice of engines, including one which can be ordered with the all-new automatic EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) transmission.
· careful attention to quality, including high-gloss black and satin-effect chrome exterior features.

New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabrio is manufactured alongside Scenic and Grand Scenic at Renault’s Douai plant in France. It consequently benefits from the experience gained since the beginning of the Megane programme, including the assembly of the former-generation Megane Coupe-Cabriolet.

New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet is an open invitation to enjoy an alternative way to go motoring, and is an elegant illustration of Renault’s new brand signature, ‘Drive the Change’. New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabrio goes on sale this spring.

ARRESTING LOOKS FROM EVERY ANGLE

New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet completes the renewal of the New Megane family in style with a car whose intrinsic appeal is sure to turn heads. Its looks exude a distinguished elegance that is underpinned by the large glass roof which tells you that this is unmistakably a cabriolet, even in its coupe configuration. This high-gloss finish black glass roof contrasts with the satin-effect chrome windscreen frame, while the sweep of the waistline adds an unmistakably high-end feel that more than does justice to its cabriolet persona. The dark red taillights feature a linear lighting pattern and LED brake lights to provide a distinctive rear lighting signature.

The interior layout carries over the same prevailing elegance and refinement, thanks not only to the quality of the materials employed and to the high standard of finish, but also to the three choices of trim, which range from dark charcoal and light beige to the charcoal and red two-tone finish with leather seats.

Although the floating dashboard is identical to that of New Megane Hatchback, the seats offer additional lateral support, while the ‘butterfly wing’ door trim panel is specific to New Megane Coupe- Cabriolet and adds to the newcomer’s inherent elegance.

CHIC AND PRACTICAL

New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabrio’s occupants benefit from the thrills of unruffled open-top motoring in all conditions.

The standard folding glass hard roof boasts a transparent glazed area of 0.47 sq. metres (a segment best) to ensure a brightly lit cabin and a sensation of space and freedom. It also guarantees outstanding acoustic and thermal comfort, as well as the reassurance of greater protection from vandalism. The fully-automatic, electro-hydraulic opening mechanism of the two-part roof enables the driver to lower the top in just 21 seconds at the press of a button.

With the top down, the driver and passengers alike enjoy a real sense of freedom. Entry and exit is made easier by the more forward position of the windscreen header-rail which has been advanced by 6cm compared with Megane II Coupe-Cabriolet.

To make sure that all occupants are able to benefit from the pleasure of riding al fresco without the drawbacks, New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabrio is equipped with a fixed glass wind deflector (unique in the segment) positioned behind the back seat headrests. This arrangement enables four people to enjoy draft-free driving at speeds of up to 90kph and, when used in conjunction with the removable mesh deflector screen located behind the front seats, allows two occupants to travel free from buffeting whatever the speed.

New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet’s length of 4,485mm ensures that the driver and the three passengers benefit from a standard of comfort expected of a family car.

The driver is treated to a carefully thought-through environment and conveniently positioned controls which carry over solutions previously employed for New Megane Hatchback and New Megane Coupe:

- controls clustered either around the steering wheel or on the centre console,
- height- and fore/aft-adjustable driver’s seat (through 70mm and 240mm respectively),
- position memory for front seats, after being tipped forward,
- reach and height-adjustable steering wheel (through 45mm and five degrees respectively).

In addition to New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet’s carefully-honed lines, special attention has gone into ensuring that it is a practical package, too, and that includes the boot:

- automatic closing for simple, secure locking,
- large capacity (417 litres with the roof up, and 211 litres with the roof down),
- easy to access, with a segment-best sill height (590mm from the ground) and aperture (258mm) with the roof down, enabling three cabin cases to be carried side by side.

A RAFT OF PRACTICAL, USER-FRIENDLY HIGH-TECH FEATURES

Like all the models that make up the New Megane family, New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabrio is available with a long list of high-tech features, most of which are more readily associated with the next segment up:

· hands-free starting, and hands-free locking as the card-holder walks away from the car,
· electric parking brake,
· automatic dual-zone three-mode (soft-auto-fast) climate control,
· directional bi-Xenon headlamps,
· combined digital/analogue instrument display,
· new, colour-coded cruise control/speed limiter interface,
· 3D sound by Arkamys® audio with Plug&Music connectivity (USB, mini-jack plug),
· Carminat TomTom® navigation, the market’s most competitively priced built-in sat-nav system,
· customized settings and activation/deactivation of certain functions (daytime running lights, volume of audible parking proximity warning).

A PERFECTLY SMOOTH RIDE

New Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet delivers the same high standard of driving precision as Megane Hatchback and Megane Coupe to provide an enjoyable, responsive ride:

- The MacPherson-type front suspension is attached to a so-called ‘horned’ subframe, an arrangement that ensures a level of lateral rigidity that is three-times superior to that of the former-generation Megan Coupe-Cabriolet.
- The rear suspension’s torsion beam features a lighter, closed-profile beam that delivers enhanced torsional stiffness.
- The new electric power steering system is more responsive and refined, and gives even more accurate feedback of information from the road.

The torsional rigidity of the bodyshell has been uprated by 80 per cent compared with Megane II Coupe-Cabrio in order to match the increased stiffness of the suspension and for even greater handling precision, whether the roof is up or down.

New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet is available with a choice of seven efficient and eco-friendly petrol and diesel powertrain configurations.

Petrol engines:

- The 1.6 16V 110hp engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
- The TCe 130 (Turbo Control efficiency) driving through a six-speed manual gearbox.
- The 2.0 16V 140hp engine available with the new continuously variable transmission (CVT) for even greater driving comfort thanks to smooth, step-less gearshifts.

The diesel engine range comprises the following Euro5-homologated powerplants:

- The dCi 110 DPF, mated either to the brand new six-speed EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) dualclutch automatic transmission (see below) or to a manual six-speed gearbox.
- The dCi 130 DPF which drives through a six-speed manual gearbox.
- The dCi 160 DPF also with a six-speed manual gearbox.

EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) dual-clutch automatic transmission

The six-speed EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) dual-clutch automatic transmission fits perfectly with Renault’s bid to combine ride comfort, driving pleasure and respect for the environment. Based on DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) technology, it stands out as a genuine clean-break solution compared with conventional automatic transmissions thanks to:

- CO2 emissions and fuel consumption comparable to those of a vehicle equipped with a manual gearbox,
- fast, smooth, automatic gearshifts,
- instant response to the driver’s demands.

THE PLEASURE OF OPEN-TOP MOTORING IN TOTAL SAFETY

When it comes to safety, New Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet reaps the benefits of the brand’s extensive expertise in this field. Like all the models that make up the New Megane range, it has been engineered to boast exemplary passive and active safety performance.

An extensive range of equipment is available to help drivers anticipate risk situations:

· front seatbelt warning lights,
· tyre pressure monitoring system,
· directional bi-Xenon headlamps with cornering dipped beams,
· automatic headlamp activation,
· automatic windscreen wiper activation,
· cruise control with speed limiter.

New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabrio comes with a comprehensive range of driving aids, too:

· ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution,
· Emergency brake assist,
· ESC with understeer control.

New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet’s chief passive safety features are:

· programmed structural deformation designed to protect the cabin – and therefore occupants – in the case of a rollover, thanks to reinforcement of the windscreen pillars, body sides, sills and floor,
· automatic pyrotechnic deployment of the rollover hoops should dedicated sensors detect that a rollover is imminent,
· seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters,
· adaptive frontal airbags, 6
· dual-volume head/thorax/pelvis lateral airbags,
· anti-submarining airbags incorporated in the front seat cushions,
· side impact sensors,
· anti-whiplash head restraints,
· Isofix child seat anchorage for rear seats.

The public will get its first chance to see New 2011 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabrio when it is unveiled at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show (March 4-14, 2010). It will also be displayed at L’Atelier Renault on the Champs-Elysees (N°53) in Paris, France.

2010 Renault Clio S Announced

Posted by: eauto | Comments (0)

While its flagship Renaultsport models continue to raise the hot hatch bar and obliterate their rivals in equal measure, Renault is also seeking to bring the sporty look and feel to the core Clio range with the launch of a new ‘S’ version.

Resurrecting the successful Clio S formula from the early 90s, the new three-door versions hark back to the original through their trademark white 16-inch ‘Polar’ alloy wheels. Among the other cosmetic changes, are a white front bumper insert and white ‘GT’ rear spoiler, while to the sides and roof, some optional slightly less subtle white racing stripes catch the eye with an ‘S’ incorporated into each band. Completing the package, are extra tinted rear windows and tailgate for a truly contemporary look.

The sporty theme continues on the inside, with a bespoke interior including ‘S’ embossed upholstery, leather steering wheel and striking white centre console, dashboard inserts and instrument dials.

The new entrants are based on the Expression specification, currently only available on five-door. They come with a choice of three responsive and frugal engines, 1.2 16V 75, 1.2 TCe 100 and 1.5 dCi 86, all of which meet Renault’s eco2 criteria.

Pricing for the new Clio S versions starts at £11,209 on-the-road for the 1.2 16V 75, rising to £13,458 for the 1.5 dCi 86 A/C. Buyers have a choice of four colours for the latest addition to Renault’s ever-popular supermini range: Glacier White, Pearl Black, Capsicum Red and Extreme Blue.

Renaultsport Technologies is expanding its range of rally cars with the introduction of Twingo Renaultsport R2 and Twingo Renaultsport R1. Designed for drivers looking for a modern, affordable and reliable rally car, these two next generation products make up the entry-level of a comprehensive range of competition cars that also includes the Clio Renaultsport R3 Access and Maxi.

In addition to its success in world’s top motorsport events, Renaulsport’s history also belongs to the models that have enabled entire generations of drivers to pursue their passion for the sport. In the same spirit as cars such as the R8 Gordini, the 5 GT Turbo and the group N Clio Renaultsport Williams, the Twingo Renaultsport R2 becomes the latest affordable sports model aimed at aspiring professional drivers.

Twingo Renaultsport R2

Like the Twingo Renaultsport 133 road car, the competition version offers day-to-day driveability and first-class performance. The responsive, balanced chassis features the same characteristics as the production model and has been prepared specially to offer excellent reliability and enhanced performance levels whilst keeping servicing costs competitive. In addition to strengthening certain components, Twingo Renaultsport R2 is fitted with bump- and rebound-adjustable shock absorbers, allowing it to be set up for differing conditions and driving styles.

The specifically-prepared 4-cylinder 1.6-litre16V engine develops 160hp (118kW) at 7,250rpm - an extra 27hp compared to the production engine. Combined with a five-speed ‘dog’ sequential gearbox and steering column mounted shift lever, the engine generates a maximum torque of 160Nm at 5,500rpm, giving it a wide power band.

From the design phase and right through testing, Renault Sport Technologies has taken the needs of amateur drivers into account. Making use of its extensive expertise in designing rallying cars, the technical team developed an accessible, easy-to-drive and attractively priced car, both to buy and run.

Twingo Renaultsport R2 already has a little brother: an R1 version has also been awarded FIA homologation. This model allows a much wider audience access to rallying at a greatly reduced cost.

Renaultsport Technologies is the first manufacturer to offer a complete range of Group R cars, from Twingo Renaultsport R1 to Clio Renaultsport R3 Maxi.

Twingo Renaultsport R2 comes in the form of a motorsport kit featuring all the required parts (except for tyres). Customers who buy the kit will be able to purchase a Twingo Renaultsport 133 at a special price. This solution allows customers to obtain a complete, fully-registered production car into which the kit is built.

Kits go on sale in early April, 2010, at the price of 27,990€ excluding tax.

Design and interior

The rally version of the Twingo Renaultsport 133 accentuates the production model’s naturally sporting looks. The only different exterior design feature on the competition version is the optional roof-mounted air intake. The car’s compact proportions and sharp styling, which in large part comes from the inclusion of a wide air intake grille in the front bumper, sculpted side sills and extended front and rear wheel arches, builds on the already distinctive looks of the road car, the perfect platform for the R2 version.

Twingo Renaultsport R2’s interior clearly shows Renaultsport’s drive to improve efficiency. Twingo Renaultsport R2 has the same dashboard and central console as on the road car, but comes with two Sabelt Renaultsport seats and harnesses. An LED instrumental panel displays all the necessary information, both during the special stages for the driver and at the service area for the technical team. A data acquisition system is also available as an option.

On the right of the steering wheel, the gearshift lever for the sequential dog box is within easy reach, as is the optional hydraulic handbrake lever. All electric controls are located on a ‘power box’, placed to the side of the co-driver seat.

Suspension and brakes

In designing a car that is simple to drive, reliable and effective on all surfaces, from the smoothest tarmac to the roughest dirt roads, Renault Sport Technologies opted for tried and tested technological solutions and reused many production parts.

The front suspension uses McPherson technology, with aluminium lower arms and a standard anti-roll bar. Optionally, the rubber bushes can be replaced with spherical joints, for greater driving precision. Twingo Renaultsport R2 comes with hydraulic power-assisted steering, ensuring it can meet the specific demands of rallying, regardless of the length and surface of the special stages.

Also derived from the production model, the rear suspension is a programmed deflection torsion beam. Optionally, it can be reinforced at strategic points.

Equipped with the latest in bump- and rebound-adjustable twin-tube shock absorbers, Twingo Renaultsport R2 has a broad range of settings, so being adjustable for every driving style.

Fitted with standard callipers and discs, the braking system also comes with specific motorsport brake pads. At the front, Twingo Renaultsport has 280mm-diameter ventilated discs and 240mm solid discs at the rear. The one-piece aluminium wheel rims are available in 6.5×16″ (tarmac) and 6×15″ (gravel) sizes and can be fitted with 195/50 R 16 (tarmac) or 195/65 R 15 (gravel) tyres.

The optional gravel kit comprises the four specific springs, the ball joints for the front axle, the reinforced rear axle and protective elements. These technical decisions help to keep the cost of buying and servicing the car under control. In looking to design a car that is simple to drive, reliable and effective on all surfaces, from the smoothest tarmac to the roughest dirt roads, Renault Sport Technologies opted for tried and tested technological solutions and reused many production parts.

Engine and gear box

Twingo Renaultsport R2 features the normally-aspirated 1,598cc 16-valve K4M RS engine developed by Renault Sport Technologies, ensuring the car is effective, reliable and fun-to-drive. The main changes concern the pistons, camshaft, flywheel, exhaust system and the addition of a specific air box. This special preparation gives the engine an extra 27hp compared with the production model, reaching a mighty 160hp (118kW) of power at 7,250rpm. Maximum torque (160Nm) is reached at 5,500rpm.

A specific motorsport ECU manages engine (power supply and ignition) and gearbox operations. It operates in conjunction with a special electrical wiring loom and may be combined with an optional data logging. Twingo Renaultsport R2’s engine has been designed to cover 2,500 kilometres of special stages between each service.

The five-speed sequential gearbox comes with a ZF limited slip differential. Gearshift is managed via a lever positioned adjacent to the steering wheel, which is combined with an engine cut-out switch. This means the driver can use full-throttle flat shifts while changing up through the gears. The clutch is a hydraulically-controlled single disc. Like the gearbox, it can be used for both gravel and tarmac rallying. Three final drive settings are available to suit the specific characteristics of each event.

Safety on road and track

Safety is a priority for Renaultsport Technologies. Twingo Renaultsport R2’s structure has been reinforced and strengthened to increase passive and active safety levels. The original body shell has been reinforced and now comes with a welded-in roll cage which complies with the latest specifications set out in Group R regulations and approved by the FIA after a crash test. The roll cage is made of more than 40 metres of steel tubing and contributes to the strength of the survival cell. Twingo Renaultsport R2’s interior is fitted with the latest equipment, including Sabelt seats and six-point safety harness compatible with the HANS restraint system. As an option, it is possible to select the seats with head restraint as used on Clio Renaultsport R3. The inner door trims have been removed to allow a protective panel made from composite materials to be installed. The car has an electrically-controlled automatic fire extinguisher system and a battery master switch.

Twingo Renaultsport R1

At the outset, motor racing was all about drivers taking on each other in their own cars. Renault Sport Technologies aims to return to the origins of racing, with Twingo Renaultsport R1.

Renault Sport Technologies is the first manufacturer to obtain homologation for a car in this entry-level motorsport category. This basic version can take part in all regional, national and international rallies at a greatly reduced cost. Twingo Renaultsport R1 is a production car fitted with some essential safety equipment. It gives drivers with very limited budgets the opportunity to get involved.

Starting with the Twingo Renaultsport 133 road car, the R1 version is fitted with the same welded roll cage as the R2, but it also has two additional protective tubes and is bolted to the body shell to easy assembly. The engine and gearbox are identical to the production model. An ECU setting giving torque at lower engine speeds will be homologated to improve mid-range performance. Provided FIA regulations are complied with, it is possible to convert Twingo Renaultsport R1 to Twingo Renaultsport R2 specification.

Support

Renault Sport Technologies provides high-quality technical support for all its range of racing products. Every year, its engineers attend over 100 national and international rallies (Junior World Rally Championship, IRC, ERC, etc.)

A spare parts facility, as well as manufacturers’ engineers and technicians, will be present at the various national trophies that will be run throughout Europe - in France, Italy, Switzerland and a few other countries - to support drivers who have chosen the Twingo Renaultsport R2. Ongoing support, including a help hotline, ensures that all customers remain in direct contact with Renault Sport Technologies’ engineers, either by telephone or email.

This support service means that drivers and teams can benefit from Renault Sport Technologies’ expertise as soon as they receive the kit and be supervised during the build of the car. Feedback provided in this way also allows Renault Sport Technologies to gather, analyse and relay any useful information to all its customers. An extranet site is available to Renaultsport customers, where they can download technical and sales documentation, technical updates, assembly instructions, and setup sheets.
